Christian REYNAUD is in charge of NESTEAR. He was several years director of Transport Economics and Sociology Department of INRETS. He was member of different international, European bodies (ECMT, ECE, Cost Committee) and French transport committee.
Before IFSTTAR (ex INRETS) he managed for a long time Statistics and transport Planning Service of Ministry of Transport, he created in 1985 the Observatory of Economic and Transport Statistics of the French Ministry of Transport.
From the start of the transition in Central and Eastern European countries he participated to works on this subject: ITIS project with UNDP, Barbizon meetings to follow the transition (10th meeting in 2000 with 9 books published), ECMT studies etc...
He also extended his experience to the Mediterranean region : creation of researchers network, Mediterranean research program and extension to European networks to Mediterranean (CORRIMED, INFRAMED, RETRAMED projects).
He has been involved in European research programs: IQ, Scenario, Eufranet, Think Up, MEDA TEN T as coordinator, Tenassess, Code-Ten, Sort-it, Logic, Eunet, Redefine, Scenes as main partner, TEN STAC, NEW OPERA, INTEGRATION, ETIS, INTERFACE, etc..
In NESTEAR he is more involved in prospective methods and application.
Martine Poincelet

has been research assistant in Department of Transport Economics and Sociology at IFSTTAR (ex INRETS) . She was in charge of organisation of seminaries with experts from Central and Eastern European Countries and Mediterranean Countries and publication of books following the meetings (9 books for CEEC and 4 for Mediterranean).
As research assistant, she used databases (Comext 1 and 2 from European Community Statistical Office, SITRAM from Statistical Service of French Ministry of Equipment and Transport), and different software, Databases, geographical, spreadsheet etc.
She participated in European projects: CODETEN and SITPRO, FORESIGHT and she was strongly involved in MEDA TEN T coordinated by NESTEAR.
Before INRETS she was assistant of Head of Observatory of Economic and Transport Statistics. She is now in charge of information system and formation at NESTEAR.

Christophe Decoupigny
Consulting senior
is specialist in GIS and got his University degrees in Geography. He has been involved in many European projects and in particular in TEN-STAC and in ESPON in charge of GIS for networks, INTERFACE for analysis of impact of cross border terminals on development of intermodal European traffic.
In the recent period he has also been involved in MEDA TEN T which objectives is integration of MEDA and TEN networks.
In this last project he has integrated maritime links in the pan-European networks in order to assess the impacts of motorways of the sea.
For NESTEAR, in France, Christophe Decoupigny has worked for RFF (Management railways Infrastructure) for evaluation of new railway links including environmental impacts.
Christine Masson
Consulting senior
She has joined NESTEAR in September 2006, she was desk officer of several european research projects, coordonited by IFSTTAR (ex INRESTS), IQ project (Intermodal quality), EUFRANET, THINK UP, SCENARIO..
She speaks English and German, and she has a long experience in Working in Germany in different foreign companies. She is directly in charge of developping international projects and to response to calls for tender and reports production.
Jean-Baptiste Buguellou
Consulting senior
is a specialist in GIS and network modelling. He has worked for several years on evaluation of transport policy for development of urban transport and impact on environment. His is presently finishing his thesis relative to infrastructure use and congestion. During the last years he was also involved in several EU research projects and in particular in NEW OPERA for development of rail freight in Europe.
Zheng Chen
Consulting senior
has a Master in GIS science. He is more involved in development of models and GIS for transport in NESTEAR. He participated in several European projects as DESTIN, INTERFACE, MEDA TEN T, INTEGRATION, NEW OPERA. He also participated to international (CORRECT) and national projects (SNCF 2050).
Hanane Abounidane
Executive secretary - administrative assistant
has joined NESTEAR in September 2002. She is in charge of the administrative follow-up. She participated in the organisation of meetings and conferences of different european projects in France and abroad. She responds also to calls for tender.
Plurivalent, she has acquired a diversified experience, she speaks English and Arabic.
She is in charge of the creation and the up-dating of the web-site of NESTEAR.
